Michelle holds a M.A. degree in Special Education from San Francisco State University, M.S. degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and B.S. in Elementary and Middle School Education from Nebraska Wesleyan University. She is a member the Association for Educational Therapists and the International Dyslexia Association.
Educational therapy sessions
provide specialized remediation,
individualize goals,
teach strategy/skill acquisition, and
use multi-sensory, research-based
Orton-Gillingham programs.
These teaching strategies benefit children who may struggle with executive functioning, ADHD, dyslexia/ dysgraphia, auditory and visual processing, and/or sensory/spectrum sensitivities.
